Pastor Tony Roberts

Pastor Tony Roberts is the Senior Pastor of Victory Worship Center International. 

Pastor Roberts was educated in the public schools of Atlanta and attended Morris Brown College and Carter Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia. He has audited several courses at The Interdenominational Theological Center of Morehouse College. He has served as Senior Pastor at Victory Worship Center International since March 2002. It was in 2004, that the Lord re-directed Pastor Roberts as to the vision for the house. The Lord spoke it is time for my people to “transition from hurting to healing to victorious living.” Victory Worship Center was born out of New Bethesda Baptist Church. 

Pastor Roberts is credited with leading the congregation of Victory Worship Center from a membership of less than 30 active members to a more visible and viable entity in the old Fourth Ward District of Atlanta. Under his leadership, Victory Worship Center purchased the building at 664 Angier Ave, Atlanta, GA, and in less than one year the Lord sent a buyer of that same building. After purchasing the 18-acre property at 4190 Cedar Ridge Trail in Stone Mountain, GA, in November 2006 it became the new home of Victory Worship Center International. The Lord has again, re-directed the vision of the house! The Mission? “Building People for Kingdom Purposes”

Pastor Roberts’ vision for this community includes a Christian Academy, Family Life Center, transportation ministry and senior housing. Victory Worship Center continues to grow upwards with the restructuring of ministries and auxiliaries within Victory Worship Center, to include Food and Clothing Pantries.

Having been civically involved locally in the greater Atlanta community and nationally on many levels, Pastor Roberts has been recognized and honored by “The Rice Awards as the 2020 Businessman of the Year!”  He is also in partnership with the White House COVID-19 Vaccine Initiative as liaison to Barbers and Stylist.  He is the owner of Tony’s Barber Studio located in Atlantic Station and the former owner of Tony’s Barber Shop located in Downtown Atlanta and Exclusive Barber Shop and Hair Salon in Riverdale, Georgia. 

Pastor Roberts and his wife, Sonya Roberts, have three sons – Tony, Jr., Nicholas Chase, and Justin. They also have two grandsons, Ayden, and Austin Roberts,
